Quick charge technologies are advancing – well – quickly and these companies are exploring the most efficient ways to transfer electricity, increase EV range by strategic placement, and manage this hefty load to the grid.

Bio

Cliff Fietzek, Manger of connected e-mobility is responsible for all development related topics on BMW’s electric cars within BMW of North America.

He started his assignment with BMW of North America in May 2010.

Prior to this assignment, he was responsible for the electric / electronic integration of the hybrid power train into the BMW X6 Active Hybrid. The hybrid components were jointly developed at the Hybrid Development Center in Troy, MI, in a cooperation between General Motors, Chrysler, Daimler and BMW.

Cliff Fietzek has been with BMW since 2003 and holds a Master of Engineering.
